This company is a silica sand surface mining operation in New Castle, VA. I am a principal owner with 2 brothers and a sister. My primary responsibility was Sales and Marketing. I served as the liaison with our bank for financing and develop the company's financial forecasts. I negotiated pricing and customer contracts when necessary. In 2012 I retired as an active employee but remain as a corporate officer and owner/director. The mining operations is now under the management of Titan Aggregates Co.
This company offered all interior decorating services. We designed rooms from start to finish. We provided most interior decorating products: flooring, bedding, window treatments, furniture & accessories. We also provided floor planning/arranging and consultation. We completely furnished 2 model homes for Fralin & Waldron while operating this business.
