At Infoblox I've driven and led step change improvements in how we hire and what we deliver as EMEA has tripled in size. Previously, I scaled Scansafe pre-Cisco acquisition (was great fun!), contracted into Cisco across EMEA for 4 years (GTM, Engineering, Security), short stint at Google, and ran my own boutique tech recruitment business (Deanslist) for 8 years. I know what works at early stage, Series C/D, and at $1B+, and where the seams are between them.
Built, scaled and lead Infoblox’s TA team and function, reporting to the VP TA (US based) and partnering with EMEA SVP and regional VPs/RDs to deliver ambitious multi-year hiring plans across 17 countries. - Lead full-cycle hiring in a direct to market model across GTM (AE, SE, BDR, Leadership), Marketing, Channel, Threat Intelligence, Customer functions and G&A - all across Cyber, SaaS and Cloud - On point for all senior leadership hiring across the region - Reshaped EMEA TA strategy and operating model as the region scaled x3 - Partnered cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, HR Operations and global leadership to enable hiring infrastructure for new market entry - Embedded AI across the hiring workflow including built and designed agents in production (using Glean) Recognition: EMEA MVP 2020 | Global Superbloxer 2024 | EMEA TA team were 'EMEA Team MVP' winners 2025
Led strategic TA initiatives across Cisco's EMEA GTM & Engineering organisations on multi-year contract engagements. Partnered directly with Director/VP stakeholders for: - EMEAR SD-WAN build: led a team of recruiters to deliver >30 specialist hires across EMEAR in 60 days for the Office of the CEO. - France Sales build: Partnered with new France leadership to rebuild the local enterprise sales team
Built a boutique tech recruitment business serving enterprise cliens (Capgemini, Williams Lea) and rapid-growth start-ups (Wandera, Firefly, Bango). Bias toward engineering and technology hiring with strong delivery across GTM & corporate functions. Ran the business through both retained and contingency models, hired and managed 3 people. 2010-2012: Co-founded "Deanslist Graduates" - an early 'LinkedIn for Students and Graduates' platform. Signed 200+ companies and 5000+ students; toured universities giving employability talks before pivoting back to core recruitment services.
Re-joined Cisco on a project basis to lead the recruitment of several business lines across EMEA (e.g. Software Engineering, Cisco Innovation Centres, Optical Engineering and other projects). Liaising with Director/VP level stakeholders in a 360 recruitment role I devised and delivered on strategies for some of the EMEA offices - UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and France - whilst driving improvements to recruitment processes.
Approached by Directors of Cisco (prev Scansafe) to return on a contract and help with the transition over to the Cisco recruiting team. Led the transition, helping Cisco recruiters get up to speed on the requirements, routes to market and recruiting processes whilst also making a number of hires across the business.
