Currently serving as CTO & SVP at The Hershey Company after 12 years at Amazon, where I led large-scale supply chain optimization and automated decision-making systems powering inventory, fulfillment, forecasting, and logistics globally. My career has spanned automotive, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, e-commerce, and consumer packaged goods — experiences that have shaped a broad, multidisciplinary approach to technology, operations, engineering, and business transformation. I enjoy building high-caliber technical organizations that combine engineering, science, product management, and business ownership to solve hard operational problems at scale. Serving as Chief Technology Officer at The Hershey Company, leading enterprise technology strategy, modernization, and digital transformation across the company’s global business operations. Responsible for driving large-scale modernization of enterprise platforms, supply chain and commercial systems, enterprise architecture, and data foundations while advancing AI-enabled and data-driven business decision-making capabilities across the enterprise. Leading the transformation toward a more scalable, federated technology and data science operating model that enables business-aligned innovation, platform reuse, and enterprise-wide leverage of analytics, machine learning, and automation capabilities.
Led Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization, one of the largest and most sophisticated business outcome–driven technology organizations in Amazon Consumer, with 2,500+ scientists, engineers, product managers, and operators building autonomous decision systems that optimized hundreds of billions of dollars of global inventory, fulfillment, forecasting, placement, and delivery flows across Amazon’s worldwide consumer business — directly responsible for critical operational and financial outcomes including customer service levels, delivery speed, network capacity management, inventory productivity, and inventory turnover.
Led a technology organization of 600+ responsible for automation and optimization of the buying, placement and inventory health decisions of all Amazon inventory worldwide- how much to buy of what, where to place it in the network and what/how to remove it (if/when needed)- all while maximizing customer satisfaction and driving profitable growth.
