About

For nearly two decades, I’ve coached professionals at every stage of their careers, from first-time job seekers to senior executives. But having a teenager approaching high school has made me think more and more about the next generation entering the workforce. Gen Z is arguably the most ambitious and digitally fluent generation we’ve ever seen, yet also one of the most underserved when it comes to real-world career guidance and understanding how the hiring system actually works. They’re talented. They’re driven. But many are navigating one of the most competitive job markets in history without a roadmap. That realization became deeply personal for me. Outside of my professional career, mentorship, teaching, and community-building have always been part of who I am. For me, finding ways to lift, mentor, and inspire others is where I choose to invest much of my extra time and energy as a busy dad and professional. It’s not a career pivot or distraction from my work. It’s part of my purpose. My WHY! My career spans nearly two decades across seven Fortune 500 organizations, while also building coaching communities, creating content, teaching in university classrooms, stepping onto a TEDx stage, and immersing myself in entrepreneurship and career development work. Now I’m channeling all of those experiences, corporate leadership, coaching, teaching, speaking, content creation, and entrepreneurship into one long-term mission to give back and help prepare the next generation for the future workforce. I’m currently building The GenZHired Project — not as my full-time job, but as a long-term give-back initiative, movement, and upcoming book designed to help the next generation navigate careers with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. At the center of the work is The UNTRAPPED System™ — because the goal has never been to simply land a job. It’s to build a meaningful career and life with direction. I’m also actively partnering with universities, early-career programs, and talent teams as a speaker, educator, and advisor focused on helping close the gap between student potential and workforce readiness. Long-term, I’m especially passionate about AI, education, HR tech, workforce innovation, and career development, particularly solutions helping reshape how the next generation discovers opportunities and enters the workforce. If you’re building in that space or believe the next generation deserves better guidance and support, I’d love to connect. The movement is just getting started. Follow along at genz.careers

  • Project Founder - GenZ Career Strategist at GenZHired
    Apr 2026 - Present · 3 mos

The GenZHired Project is a movement built for the generation entering the workforce right now. Because the reality is eye-opening: - Nearly 50% of Gen Z graduates are underemployed in roles that don’t require a degree - Over 60% of employers say entry-level candidates are not workforce-ready - And despite thousands of applications, only ~2–3% ever convert into interviews Most Gen Z professionals are talented, ambitious and completely unprepared for how modern hiring actually works. They apply endlessly, get filtered out by systems they don’t understand, and never make it to the conversations that matter. GenZHired exists to change that. Through frameworks, content, partnerships, a TEDx talk, the GenZHired movement, and an upcoming book: The UNTRAPPED System™ — we’re building a real roadmap into a first role and beyond. Not just tips. A framework. Not just motivation. A strategy. We’re currently building a waitlist of 1,000 founding members. If you’re serious about getting hired not just applying, Join the movement: genz.careers
