Hi, my name is Dawson. I have been working as a manager at Wal-Mart for just over 3 years now, holding multiple different supervisory positions. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in computer science from SNHU so that I can further my career.
Along with a co-manager, I lead a team of 25 in the process of unloading trucks in an organized manner, maintaining backroom standards, identifying picks from the backroom and working them onto the shelf, stocking all 7 consumables departments (paper, pets, chemicals, health & beauty, pharmacy, cosmetics, and infants), zoning each of these departments, and setting up overnights for success by staging all of their freight in the proper area on the sales floor, ensuring they are aware of what freight has come in for the day and how much is expected to be stocked, and leaving the backroom clean and orderly.
