Macomb, Michigan, United States
I’m an aspiring IT and cybersecurity professional currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Cybersecurity at Macomb Community College. I hold the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) certification in Cybersecurity and have a strong foundation in system security, networking basics, and troubleshooting. My experience in customer‑facing roles has strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities — skills that translate directly into IT support and security operations environments. I’m motivated, detail‑oriented, and committed to continuous learning as I work toward building a career in cybersecurity. I’m actively seeking entry‑level opportunities in IT support, help desk, or security operations where I can apply my technical knowledge, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to a team that values growth and innovation.
At Continental Services, I worked as a Banquet Server across a wide range of high‑profile venues, including the Infinity & Ovation Yachts, Hudson’s Waterfront Loft, Macomb Community College event spaces, Michigan Central Station, and the Cadillac Lodge. In this role, I supported events of all sizes by preparing event spaces, setting up tables and buffet stations, maintaining beverage areas, and providing professional customer service in fast‑paced environments. Working across multiple venues strengthened my adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills, as each location required different layouts, procedures, and guest expectations. I consistently ensured smooth event operations by staying organized, responding quickly to guest needs, and collaborating with staff to maintain a clean and efficient environment. This experience developed strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem‑solving abilities — all of which translate directly into IT support and cybersecurity roles where accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication are essential.
