- Use and implement TCI and CPS during de-escalation and counseling in a residential group mental health treatment center for at-risk youth with complex behavioral challenges. Withstand fast-paced, atypical, and dangerous situations. Facilitate therapeutic individual and group activities in a trauma-centered, gender-diverse, and culturally-sensitive manner. Promote individuality and cooperation. Build and maintain a positive rapport with youth, families, CAS, and other community members; including programming centers, as well as legal and medical professionals. Teach daily life skills and boundaries. Encourage participation in community and educational settings. Advocate for youth, and teach self-advocacy. Coordinate with multiple parties to implement accommodations where necessary. Apply daily routines and house rules to help establish positive self-care and respect in a non-punitive manner. Facilitate drives and accompany youth at appointments. Engage in physical interventions when absolutely necessary to ensure safety - Complete logs, progress notes & SOR/IRs for up to 8 youths in the home. Maintain main client files; complete Admission/Discharge Package, review Client Rights/Responsibilities with youth, create and implement ICSPs (Individual Crisis Support Plan), book & record appointments, manage medication, abide by/adjust safety protocols and supervision levels, propose and implement individualized community programming. Participate in team meetings, training, and Youth POC (Plan of Care) meetings. Place orders (cash handling & budgeting), answer & make phone calls/emails and use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Apple documents - Complete all designated duties, manage the shift, and train new staff on-the-job - FT; 3-12 hour day & night shifts; 20+ hour shifts when necessary
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe housing environment for clients/staff. Complete monthly Health & Safety Inspections, schedule house maintenance, and complete security system testing
