Head Network Strategy - Transport Service Manager Define, direct and drive the logistics network strategy for Novartis Technical Operations. Global scope, covering over 60 manufacturing sites, to determine and deploy a best in class shared services logistics setup. Defining and deploying a comprehensive network strategy by: • Leveraging the global scale and identifying synergies in the global goods flows, • Delivering compelling business case scenarios, • Driving the network performance through savings-performance monitoring for sites, hubs and flows, • Directing improvement opportunities for multi-site freight consolidation, crossdocking, roundtrips and multi-stops.
Operational responsibility for consulting company specialized in pharma quality support for logistics. Serving both pharma / healthcare companies and logistics companies. Operational lead to align business development with consulting planning. Streamline & optimize the internal processes. Liaison to bring different stakeholders together to partner and increase performance. Leading consulting projects for our customers in the field of: 1) Pharma Compliance support (certification support for ISO 9001:2015, EU GDP, IATA/CEIV). 2) Pharma Compliance audits. 3) Projects related to TTSP (time and temperature sensitive products) e.g routing validations, temperature mapping (warehouses, trailers) etc. 4) Inhouse support. E.g acting as Pharma Quality Coordinator for several logistics companies and responsible for their QMS (Quality Management System). 5) Pharma projects. 6) GDP Training Academy: providing training in the field GDP on all hierarchical levels of the organization (leadership, management, office, warehousing, drivers) and in different organizations (pharma- and logistics companies and (airport) communities). Collaborating partner with ATMP Logistics Excellence Center (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products) to contribute to a resilient, robust and reliable ATMP supply chain. Collaborating partner with MiPharma global network.
Leading the Global Transportation Tactical and Analytical team. Responsible for the global transportation spend air and ocean of $300m. Leading global transportation projects e.g cold chain lane validations; global air- and ocean tender. Leading global transportation tactics e.g Distribution Requirement Planning to secure freight capacity as part of S&OE and S&OP cycles; supervising daily international air and ocean transportation; monitoring logistics provider performance and setting up MBR / QBR's; managing 4PL solution; develop and maintain robust freight spend analytics.
