Led OCI Global Network Engineering in the delivery of backone, optical, internet edge, and datacenter-based nework solutions supporting both traditional compute ad storage infrastructure, along with next-generationAI networks. Held full P&L ownership and end-to-end accountability for Fastly’s global infrastructure — encompassing platform and hardware engineering, network design, peering and transit relationships, and the selection, build-out, and operation of 100+ datacenters across 30+ countries. Responsible for deploying and sustaining a reliable, cost-effective, and technically differentiated CDN platform serving some of the internet’s highest-traffic destinations. ▪ P&L & Financial Oversight: Managed full CapEx and OpEx accountability for the global infrastructure platform, maintaining rigorous cost discipline while delivering the capacity and performance commitments required to support Fastly’s customer SLAs and growth trajectory. ▪ Global Datacenter Portfolio: Oversaw the strategic selection, commercial negotiation, engineering build-out, and ongoing operation of 100+ colocation facilities across 30+ countries, balancing performance, cost, and geographic coverage objectives. ▪ Platform & Hardware Engineering: Directed platform and hardware engineering teams responsible for server design, network hardware qualification, and the technical standards governing Fastly’s globally deployed infrastructure fleet.
Led the Hardware Design and Test organizations at Salesforce, transforming the approach to validating hardware solutions prior to production datacenter deployment. The Hardware Integration Testing Lab (HITL) team was responsible for hardware testing and proof-of-concept work covering Network, Server, Security, and Infrastructure hardware — owning the quality process from initial testing through decommission. * Designed and built Salesforce's first dedicated lab environment focused on hardware quality assurance * Established a Vendor Quality Program, enforcing and auditing quality standards at all vendor and manufacturer sites * Enhanced the FAI program, normalizing hardware delivered across multiple vendors * Implemented a hardware design validation program * Onboarded ODM and OEM vendors
Oversaw production operations for StumbleUpon, including Network, Datacenters, IT, and Systems Operations. Responsible for engineering and operating StumbleUpon's global production environment. Maintained a hardened, resilient infrastructure adaptable to evolving business needs. Key responsibilities included contract management and negotiation, ISP circuit provisioning, load balancing, security, IT operations, and datacenter site selection and management.
