An adaptable Agile Coach with over 17 years of experience across the retail, telecommunications, property, education, banking, and financial industries; with a strong technical and business background in enterprise-level projects/programs. Skilled at working with disparate teams, challenging stakeholders, external parties/vendors to achieve goals/targets, and instilling delivery confidence in senior management. I have a strong track record of consistently delivering success in complex IT platforms, API & micro-services, B2B customer/client experience uplift and high-performance/agile team uplift. Having recently completed an Agile coaching transformation engagement at Coles Group, I am now seeking a more challenging and delivery-focused opportunity. I am available for immediate employment and interested in working either in a permanent or contracting capacity.
This transformation program focused on increasing “speed to value” for customers. It was rolled out across Coles Technology Domains (areas with Coles ranging between 100-250 people) with a formal launch program, leadership coaching, training and enablement of team(s), supported by standards and tools. Achievements: Agile coach for the Fintech & Payment Service domain. • Helped shape the Domain design, incl. Domain & Squad level operating rhythm, Domain leadership workshops, and set up the JIRA/Confluence instance (i.e. structure, advance roadmaps, automated dashboards & Atlassian Analytics). • Prepared & co-facilitated Domain prioritisation workshops, capacity & capability planning, and the quarterly planning event. • 1:1 coach & mentor for 5 Iteration Managers and led the IM Chapter. • Successfully uplifted 5 teams (over 50 people) - through an Iteration 0 kick-off, Scrum events, used Value Stream Mapping to identify and address bottlenecks, and designed as well as implemented new front door processes. • Facilitated agile foundation & role specific (BA, Iteration Manager, Product Manager) 1-day training sessions across Coles Technology. • Rolled out Agile maturity assessment for Domains, Crews and squads that included maturity metrics for continuous improvement. • Created a knowledge bank (with the Coles agile playbook) to support teams and coaches with the transformation.
Coles Group eCommerce is creating an omnichannel online channel that takes the time and effort out of grocery shopping. Services include Home Delivery, Click & Collect, and smart lockers. Achievements: The eCommerce domain is currently going through an exciting period of growth and transformation. • Successfully led 2 squads (22 people) delivering 5 features for the new E2E online ordering platform. I.e. the Order to Fulfilment home delivery process, redesign of delivery time slot management, E2E order & payment status integration, billing rejection process, and Flypay integration & support. • Set up and supported the squads with TDD user stories, DevOps practices, and a CICD pipeline with automated regression testing. • Set up and established the program operating rhythm, delivery approach, and team structures based on customer/user centricity, good engineering practices, QA automation, and psychological safety. • Set up and facilitated the program board, scrum of scrum, prioritisation, capacity planning, and quarterly planning for the stream.
CXD Labs is a consultancy dedicated to helping its clients create customer value through experience design. Client engagement: Data Action (Leadership team) Engaged as an agile consultant to deliver a workflow management system replacement/upgrade discovery piece. • Worked with the project team and their stakeholders to document the current state of their workflow management tool across their entire organisation, provide an assessment of their options, and deliver a high-level program backlog to kick-off the project.
Fenergo is the digital enabler of client and regulatory technology for financial services. It provides Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) software solutions for Financial Institutions including; Corporate & Institutional Banking, Commercial & Retail Banking, Asset Management, Private Banking & Wealth Management. Client engagement: ANZ Engaged as a senior product consultant to work with ANZ to overcome operational and regulatory challenges and design the optimum solution in line with Fenergo’s product offering.
