David joined Derhak Ireland as a Partner in 1993 following extensive experience in Operations and Logistics management with some very diverse manufacturing companies. For much of his career as a senior manager, he has led or played a key role in steady state, turnaround, and green field startups for multinationals. His varied experience extends to a number of industry sectors that include plastic, rubber, glass, metal stamping, assemblies and heavy metal production. Senior career assignments include B. F. Goodrich, LOF Glass and Magna International. He has provided career counsel to executives and has partnered with clients to strategically build their management teams and profitably grow their businesses. Sectors ranging from Automotive, HVAC to Standards Development, Testing and Certification are all part of his growing portfolio. His business acumen combined with a direct approach, an excellent sense of humor and very strong commitment to customer service results in the consistent delivery of above average candidates. He has successfully completed assignments for senior executives and mid managers in a variety of functional disciplines including general management, engineering, project management, sales/marketing, finance, manufacturing and distribution. His practice includes not-for-profit and professional firms. David is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. Accreditations include The Canadian Institute of Management and The Purchasing Management Association. He is actively involved to the community where he serves on or chairs a number of committees in the not-for-profit sector.
