I’m a marketing, social media and content strategist with over 10 years of experience, specializing in the intersection of sports, gaming, and esports. For the past 8+ years, I’ve helped global brands and sports organizations connect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences through innovative digital marketing, social media, and creator-led campaigns. At Play To Compete, we support organizations in bring gaming and esports to sports and the other way around and staying ahead of emerging trends in sports marketing. As part of my current role, I lead the content and communications for FIFAe, FIFA’s official esports property—driving its position as the world’s leading sport simulation event and strengthening its global brand presence across digital, social, and creator-led channels.
At Play To Compete we specialize in combining the world of gaming and esports with traditional sports. We believe these two worlds can benefit from each other and help sports organisations and brands to stay connect with the next generation of fans.
Being part of both - the Digital Marketing and the Communications department - I've been involved in digital projects such as the FIFA eWorld Cup while delivering content, setting up communications strategies and coordinating the content accordingly on the FIFA social media channels as well as on fifa.com. Further more this also includes partner management, the video and photo production, PR support, agency coordination and campaign management.
Project and account management for multiple projects including print productions, online communications, events/exhibitions and film productions for clients such as BMW Group Classic, BMW Museum, MINI and more. Besides supporting the key accounts, I also hold responsibilities for other clients throughout the company. With my involvement in all processes from creation (concept and strategy) to production/realization and implementation within the customers brand strategy, I’m able to improve each step of a project, therefore increasing the clients satisfaction. My personal focus is on digital projects and film productions.
Mainly responsible for the Project Management of the FIFA Interactive World Cup and other FIFA related projects. I had a focus on digital content management and digital communications, which I managed during the 2017 FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC); the 2017 tournament was successfully broadcasted in over 100 countries. The company had a focus on (near) live productions and content, allowing me to be a part of several global events, establishing brand campaigns as well as tailoring communications assets towards the needs of the community and PR. Throughout the tournament we were successful in significantly increasing the KPIs compared to previous years.
Let's Yalla is a start-up in the travel business. I was primarily responsible for marketing such as influencer marketing, content management, social media marketing and print advertising. Additionally I was in charge of cooperations and the business performance analytics.
