About

Hey, my name is David Nguyen and I am a first generation Vietnamese-American. I have always gone into engineering with the mindset of creating things that would help better the world. I am an ambitious and hard working mechanical engineering student who is interested going into Robotics, Manufacturing, or Automation. Through my previous internships, I have learned industry standard skills and practices which enhance my strong base understanding of engineering concepts. As a TA for ME250, I teach solidworks, arduino, 3D printing, and workshop skills to students every day! I enjoy the hands-on aspects of engineering and seeing ideas come to life! Beyond my technical side, I'm in clubs to organize events and create opportunities for people to meet each other. As a board member of SHPE and AASIA, I have fundraised and allowed students to build a sense of community. I have strengthened my skills when it comes to communication and public speaking. I am always open to network!
