Identified new areas for data science application across Underwriting, Risk Management, and Claims. Assistant Vice President– Strategic Risk Analysis – 2008 – 2012 Director– Strategic Risk Analysis – 2006 – 2008 Associate – Strategic Risk Analysis – 2004 – 2006 Successfully developed innovative analytics in 2006 remediating a material weakness and significant deficiencies in financial controls for Chief Financial Officer of $32B insurance business, resolving an existential threat to AIG. Built system to automate conversion of HRIS relational databases to panel format for analytics; developed data standards and SAS algorithms with 5 programmers and economists. Managed development and installation of a $1.2 million benefits administration system and served as primary client contact for presentations, training and system customization.
