IT Systems: - Participate in the leading of any IT related project in the Flight Operations Department. - Ensure IT development are made according to the current regulations (BCAA/EASA/ICAO). - Work closely with ASL Holdings IT teams on upgrade project and release management. - Analyze the effectiveness and use of the various Flight Operations systems. Ensure the continuous improvement of critical processes. - Suggest professional and up-to date improvement of the Flight Operations systems. - Establish the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to management and providers. - Review and Optimize interaction between Aircraft systems and Ground Systems. - Participate in the development of new cost-effective aircraft communication methods such as 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Satcom. - Oversee upgrades and maintenance software applications related to flight applications (Sabre ,Aviobook, etc) in order to stramline business processes. - Document processes and monitoring application performance. - Be a business partner interface for functional evolution analysis, gathering requirements and follow up actions and timeline. - Provide system administration of the EFB and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. - Provide training on operational systems to technical and non-technical people (eg: Boeing OPT). - Work as back-up engineer for any flight operations support matter (Route analysis, Performance, Navigation, EFB, etc). - Ensure that financial and operational objectives are met, by developing and maintaining a set of relevant and agreed KPI's.
