Delivered national enterprise connectivity programmes for ABSA, TFG, Hungry Lion and others. Specialised in SD-WAN, EoMPLS, multi-vendor last mile delivery, and executive governance across complex ICT infrastructure rollouts.
Delivered complex multi-phased technology programmes for major enterprise clients including Woolworths (400+ store SD-WAN national rollout), Woolworths Financial Services (Azure ExpressRoute, Avaya Hosted Contact Centre), Van Schaik Bookstores, Capitec, Clicks, Curro Holdings, and others. Specialised in SD-WAN, MPLS, hosted communications, and enterprise connectivity.
Managed large-scale national connectivity rollout programmes for Pick 'n Pay (840 stores) and Woolworths (419 stores), coordinating multiple last-mile vendors including DFA, Openserve, Vodacom, MTN, Comsol and others. Served as cutover team lead directing vendor, FSE, and remote engineering resources in real-time during integration events.
Delivered diverse ICT project portfolios spanning connectivity, wireless, VoIP, cloud, and IT infrastructure for enterprise and SME clients. Notable projects include the 250-seat Asterisk-based National Contact Centre for the Democratic Alliance's 2014 election campaign, VSAT solutions for solar and wind farm sites across three provinces, and Ruckus wireless deployments. Also performed pre-sales technical consulting and scoping.
Developed a service management framework in support of corporate service continuity efforts. Headed the IT Committee, established to produce appropriate IT strategies to support critical business processes in a complex IT environment shared with sister company, PBS. Developed risk management policies and implementation plans to allow operational units to integrate risk management into day-to-day operations. AFReC (February 2002 – July 2011) "Fulfilled a dual mandate as IT Project Manager and internal IT Manager within a public sector management consulting firm. Delivered full project lifecycle management including SAP Business One implementation, UCT business relocation, IT governance frameworks, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery procedures. Reported directly to MANCO on all project and IT service management matters.
