About

With my past experience as an artist and Graphics illustrator, I think that I have a unique perspective that in the past 20 years as a computer graphic engineer has been used in a vast variety of projects ranging from human robotic interaction simulations, areal navigation presentations, from exciting entertainment visuals to stunning gaming spectaculars. From robots calling on the ground in Afghanistan to the high flying Space Vehicles in our imagination, they all have some common ground in that they all have designed, or tested in some form simulation, been a subject of a computer game, or otherwise required (at some phase of the operation) the basic Computer Graphic interface to help get these projects off the ground. This is where I have filled the need for 3D visual applications, tools and other complementary graphic elements needed to fulfill these tasks! With the advent of the newer, cost effective, Virtual Reality systems in the market, I can take my experiences to a new level and expand the possibilities even further than ever before! Put it simply, there is little that I haven’t done in the past, but still, there are great opportunities that I see for the future and I see myself well suited to expand that future. From my prospective, I have only just started to explore! There is a very bright future for Computer Graphics and human simulation interaction that we have only just begun to touch the surface of in the new technologies of today and tomorrow! Specialties: Computer Graphic Software Engineering, Computer Graphic Simulation, Computer Graphic Game Engine Development, 3D Media Tool Development, Computer Graphic Terrain and Map Development, Computer Graphic Virtual Reality Display Dynamics, Computer Graphic Display Development, 3D Virtual Human Figure Model Presentation Dynamics (in Holographic like stage presentations) Virtual Reality Headset Simulation. Experience

  • Software Engineering Consultant, Computer Graphics, AV integration, Content creation, and CAD Design at Self Employed
    Jun 2023 - Present · 3 yrs 2 mos

  • Technical Lead at Wipro
    May 2022 - Oct 2022 · 6 mos

Was Hired as a Unity developer to work at Meta VR Labs. I did get to work on a project testing hololens. Most of the balance of my time, I was finding administrative and technical errors and fixing problems and documenting the results.

  • Freelance Graphic Designer and software developer at Self-employed
    Jun 2020 - Apr 2022 · 1 yr 11 mos

Using the content creation and game engine skills that I learned wile I worked Jacobs, I applied my talents in the creation of gaming assets and supportive data and software. This included the creation of characters, riging, animation and creating the supportive data and software code for gaming characters. While I was working freelance, I took the time to go back into vocational training for game development , VR game development and software code development to get up to speed after working 13 years on a project for Navair/jacobs.

  • Sr. Graphics Software Engineer at Jacobs Technology
    Sep 2007 - Jun 2020 · 12 yrs 10 mos

Development of the graphics display for naval air training. Study of Virtual Realty Headsets for Simulation Training! These include the use of hardware and software currently in use for the game market - Oculus Rift, HTC-Vive, Gear-VR and Windows Mixed Reality. Part of my study includes more effective methodologies for prolonged exposure to the Virtual Realty experience while managing the side effects that could induce discomfort to the VR user. This is very important in keeping the user focused on task. Specialize in the development and usage of 3D Computer Graphics Software used in the Creation and Display of 3D content used in a variety of disciplines, with an emphasis on real-time Geospatial modeling for simulation. Currently working on study for the use of Game Engines in the development of immersive LVC training using Virtual Reality Headsets (Oculus Rift and HTC Vive ) and other game interface devices! This includes the use of Unity 5.3.5 and Epic Unreal 4 Game engine and includes the use of procedural modeling for large assets (like terrain) using the Houdini game engine. Also worked on the rework of a preexisting project 3D display project. This included changeover of 3D Graphic and User Interface by using Open Scene Graph (OSG) engine and QT GUI. This includes the changeover to a ECEF system using Geo based media. Also working on user tools to allow for users to quickly develop Geospatial media including maps and other data elements. Other projects include the investigation and/or development of other 3D Computer Graphics Tools that are used in 3D Graphics Displays in a variety of disciplines that include but not limited to Media and content development. This includes the use of preexisting tools that are in the market used in new ways or development of new 3D Computer Graphics Tools that fill a need that didn't exist before. Developing Media and Media Tools for many platforms.

  • Computer Video Integration Developer for ATK at Aerotek
    Dec 2006 - Apr 2007 · 5 mos

Short term project working on a video tracking system for ATK in Fort Worth TX. Integrating a two new video capture card types (including a PC104 based system) in a Microsoft Windows XP based program. The integration included the introduction of DirectShow in the software. This would allow ATK to use of new Video Capture cards as preexisting ones become obsolete - expanding the lifecycle of the code without further code modifications.
