I am a certified Medical Physicist with a passion for Science and a background in Nuclear Physics and Software Engineering. I am working for a radiologically safer world since 2011!
Design, implementation and development of a web platform for content publishing (both frontend and backend). Configuring and maintaining basic services (mail, backups, statistics, security).
I took ownership of various business-critical software and algorithms for data analysis, mainly written in C++ and Python under Linux; this work included refactoring, testing/CI, maintenance of legacy code, integration of new hardware, release management, documentation, customer support, on-site installations and commissioning. I also worked on communications and protocols (USB, serial, network), databases (SQL and No-SQL), GUIs (HTML5/JS, Qt), Git.
During a transition period I carried additional duties: ownership of the codebase, contribution to technology roadmap, architectural redesign of the software stack, setup of a remote development team, ensuring on-time product delivery, Scrum master, Git administrator, partecipating to ISO9001 certification process.
