    The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) is the UK’s only chartered professional body dedicated to educating, developing, and regulating actuaries based both in the UK and internationally. We represent and regulate our members for the benefit of the outside world and oversee their education at all stages of qualification. Department head providing a full financial service to enable high quality decision making by Council, Boards, and staff, to ensure adequate control over financial issues and to provide a management reporting service on financial topics. This includes all financial accounting activities via the Transaction Team and management information via the Financial Planning and Analysis Team. I also look after Business Continuity Planning and Net Zero planning From 2014 to 2022 I was the head of the Procurement Team which is responsible ensuring supplier management is carried out to procurement "best practice" throughout IFoA. From 2017 until 2021 I was responsible for the overall management of the Learning Operations Team who delivered all the IFoA’s examinations and provide customer support to our students. From 2018 to 2023, the Risk and Project Team came under my control. This team provided project support, operational risk management and business continuity functions at the IFoA.
