I am a senior leader with over 20 years of experience working in CDO, CTO and CIO roles to deliver digital, technology, data and culture strategy and transformation, as well as business and technology operations. I have experience working alongside C-level, Exco and Board at companies across retail and investment banking, insurance, and consulting, including Accenture, Aldermore, Admiral, Hastings, the London Stock Exchange, Visa, UBS Investment Bank, JP Morgan Investment Bank and NatWest Group.
As Chief Data and Architecture Officer, I am responsible for Aldermore Bank’s strategic data and enterprise architecture agenda, including transformation, regulatory compliance, innovation and business enablement.
Led their digital and data transformation strategy for Admiral to consolidate and simplify their digital estate and to reduce the cost/timelines for change.
Led several technology strategy and transformation programmes to move Hastings to Cloud, establish new infrastructure platforms, build an analytical data store, decommission legacy infrastructure/platforms, and deliver an insight platform to reduce the cost and time to insight.
Responsible for the delivery of large-scale digital, technology, data and culture strategy and transformation, as well as business and technology operations, in partnership with C-level, Exco and Board client colleagues at companies across retail and investment banking, insurance, and consulting. My clients included Admiral, Hastings, the London Stock Exchange, Visa Europe, JP Morgan Investment Bank and NatWest Group.
Responsible for leading the technical delivery of customer and counterparty data platforms for UBS Investment Bank, which included single customer/counterparty views. These platforms were key enablers for improving customer satisfaction, improving regulatory compliance, and reducing operating costs.
Several large-scale technology and digital transformation roles with Financial Services companies, including at Visa Europe for 5 years where I led delivery of their Enterprise Data Warehouse and card-fraud analytics platform, which was rolled out to 100+ banks in Europe. The platform resulted in a significant improvement in fraud detection, reduced the cost of fraud, and improved customer satisfaction
