With a focus on managing a substantial $0.5B direct spend portfolio, we've advanced SLB's competitive positioning by aligning with product strategy and cultivating new suppliers in Best Cost Countries. My role as Divisional Procurement Manager leverages in-depth supply chain management expertise, including logistics and supply chain optimization. Responsible for managing all aspects of operational procurement; developing staff, overseeing performance metrics, and aligning procurement activities with broader business goals. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing procurement strategies in line with the annual business planning cycle, managing KPIs around cost savings, sustainability, and PO lifecycle efficiency, and ensuring full compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
Led a $1.2B spend portfolio across North American suppliers, focusing on Machined Parts for the Surface Business Line as well as Downhole Production Tools for the Completions Business Line. • Defined supplier strategy to consolidate spending and drove successful vendor strategies for key alliance suppliers in the Completions Business Line. • Achieved multimillion-dollar savings through cost and delivery performance improvements in managed spend categories like, Machined Parts, Production Chemistry, Electrical Components and Critical Bolting.
Managed $0.5B in direct spend portfolios, covering MRO Indirect, Rotating Mechanical and Electrical Equipment and Fasteners. • Achieved over $100M in annual savings through Strategic Sourcing across multiple spend portfolios. • Developed new suppliers in Best Cost Countries to align with Product Strategy that led to double-digit increases in product margins. • Led the Global Sourcing team’s to execute the Strategic Sourcing Projects.
Implemented SAP MRP for the center and successfully trained and developed a large team of MRP Planners. • Managed the S&OP process as the single point of contact for the center and Rig Equipment business line. • Oversaw Materials Requirement Processes (MRP) and Project deliveries for Rig Equipment at the Manufacturing Center in Kristiansand. • Improved supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) scores from 20% to 80%, resulting in the successful manufacturing and shipment of $100M worth of equipment to clients.
• Led Supply Chain operations as VP, reporting to EVP of Operations at Etihad in Abu Dhabi. • Provided extensive customer support for high-level clients, including Etihad Airways. • Implemented strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and drive cost savings. • Developed and implemented innovative solutions to enhance supply chain performance.
• Developed operational model for rotable components to support main prestige customers like Gulf Air. • Managed project for ISO 9100 certification and implementation of new ERP system. • Supervised Component Operations Department for subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.
