About

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Ophthalmology resident (ST3) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. My background includes a MD/PhD in Molecular Biology, with experience in Cell Biology and Bioinformatics. My research aims to improve understanding of neurodegenerative eye conditions such as Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. I use high throughput sequencing technologies including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics (‘multiomics’) to discover biomarkers of disease progression and novel therapeutic targets.
