I'm a graduate of The Ohio State University where I received a Bachelor's in English. At OSU, I served as Co-Chair for the university's Arts Scholars program for two years, during which I organized and led meetings for the leadership council's general body. I further developed my writing and communication skills by writing for multiple websites. I've now shifted my focus to the nonprofit field and have accrued experience in development, specifically in researching and writing grant applications. I aim to continue using my fundraising experience and writing background to make a positive impact in my community.
As a Development and Grants Coordinator, I specialize in identifying funding opportunities and crafting compelling grant proposals that align with an organization’s mission. I manage deadlines, track deliverables, and ensure compliance with grant requirements, while maintaining strong relationships with donors and grantors. I collaborate with internal teams to gather data and success stories for reporting, and I keep leadership informed about funding progress. With strong writing skills, experience in nonprofit fundraising, and a mind for juggling multiple priorities, I take on every project strategically and precisely. I also maintain meticulous organization across all documentation, timelines, and communications through ClickUp and OneDrive to ensure everything is accounted for and completed.
I oversee the safety and education of the students in a primary classroom setting while encouraging Montessorian values verbally and by serving as a role model. I am also knowledgable of the class works so I may give students lessons on unfamiliar learning tools.
