A construction project engineer must combine the skills of a business manager with the technical know-how of an engineer. I serve as a kind of middleman between the client, the construction project manager and the many subcontractors to make sure a construction project proceeds safely, accurately and smoothly.
The Project Engineer has the primary responsibility of producing a complete, accurate, biddable, and buildable set of plans for all the structures in a project. This responsibility should be performed with the least possible manpower expenditures.
