Teddington, England, United Kingdom
I am a CEO, founder and portfolio operator with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, transforming and exiting technology businesses. I founded 4D Data Centres as a teenager and grew it from a £50 startup into one of the UK's leading managed infrastructure businesses, operating data centres, cloud platforms, cybersecurity services and nationwide network infrastructure. In 2022, I successfully led the sale of the business to Redcentric Plc in an £11 million transaction. Since exiting, I have worked with boards, founders, private equity investors and management teams to accelerate growth, execute strategic change and create long-term shareholder value. My experience spans CEO leadership, operational transformation, M&A, fundraising, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, software, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Today, I serve as Chief Executive Officer of Papercast, a global provider of solar-powered e-paper passenger information systems, where I lead the company's international growth strategy, product development, operational performance and value creation agenda. Prior to this, I served as Interim CEO of Ontix, guiding the business through executive transition, governance improvements and strategic delivery. My career has been built around helping organisations navigate periods of growth, change and complexity. I am particularly passionate about businesses operating at the intersection of digital infrastructure, connectivity, software and emerging technologies, where strong leadership and disciplined execution create sustainable competitive advantage. Areas of focus include: • CEO and executive leadership • Private equity and investor-backed businesses • Growth and scale-up execution • Operational transformation • M&A, due diligence and post-acquisition integration • Digital infrastructure and telecommunications • SaaS, software and recurring revenue businesses • Cybersecurity, AI and automation • Corporate governance and board effectiveness • International expansion and market development I enjoy working with ambitious teams, supportive investors and visionary founders to build exceptional businesses that deliver lasting value for customers, employees and shareholders.
