About

I take the complexity out of complex solutions. I started my career as a Sales Engineer, sitting across from enterprise buyers every day and learning firsthand where messaging landed and where it fell flat. That experience became the foundation of everything I do as a product marketer. I understand what I'm marketing at a technical level, and I know how to translate it into something buyers actually want to act on. Over 25+ years spanning pre-sales engineering, product management, and product marketing, I've worked across some of the most technically demanding segments in enterprise technology: cloud infrastructure, managed services, network security, and DDI. Along the way I've launched products, rebuilt portfolios, driven significant pipeline growth, and built the kind of messaging that sticks with both field teams and customers. Today I lead one of the broadest product marketing portfolios at Infoblox, covering hyperscaler partnerships (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), SASE and SD-WAN ecosystem go-to-market, industry verticals, and the MSSP segment. Since relocating to Frankfurt in 2023, I've added a genuinely global dimension to that work, engaging directly with customers, partners, and field teams across EMEA and speaking at industry events throughout the region. I'm also one of the most active AI practitioners on the team. I've built an AI-leveraged way of working that runs across the full marketing workflow — prompt-driven research, competitive intelligence, video production, messaging and narrative development, and content creation at scale, along with faster deck production and data synthesis that compress the time from idea to board-ready deliverable. More than any single tool, it's a repeatable operating model, and I see fluency with AI as fast becoming core to what great product marketing looks like. If you work in cloud infrastructure, network security, or enterprise SaaS and you value marketers who can hold their own in a technical conversation, let's connect. Currently on an extended work assignment in Frankfurt, Germany, with plans to return home to the Richmond, VA area in the near future. All opinions on LinkedIn are my own.

Experience

  • Senior Product Marketing Manager at Infoblox
    Apr 2019 - Present · 7 yrs 4 mos

I lead product marketing across Infoblox's cloud, ecosystem, verticals, and MSSP segments, one of the broadest portfolios in the organization. My work centers on the messaging, content, and sales enablement that powers go-to-market motions for strategic partnerships with the world's leading cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and SASE/SD-WAN ecosystem partners, helping field teams and partners tell a compelling, technically credible story to sophisticated enterprise buyers. This has included orchestrating and producing influencer marketing programs that have driven tens of thousands of views across technical and practitioner audiences. Based in Frankfurt since 2023, I work directly with customers, partners, and account teams across the EMEA region, bringing a field perspective to messaging and enablement that most PMMs simply don't have. This has included presenting at and attending numerous industry events, customer meetings, and partner engagements across the region. I've also contributed to shaping Infoblox's narrative around DDI for the AI era, helping translate complex infrastructure concepts into content that resonates with CIOs, Cloud Ops leaders, and enterprise architects, including contributing to executive thought leadership and video storyboard production for cloud partnerships. I thrive at the intersection of technical depth and clear storytelling, and I'm one of the most active AI practitioners on the team. That spans AI-assisted video production, sophisticated prompt engineering for content creation, competitive research, industry trend analysis, and data synthesis, using these tools as a genuine force multiplier across everything I do.

  • Senior Product Marketing Manager | Healthcare & Public Sector at Dell Technologies
    Aug 2017 - Apr 2019 · 1 yr 9 mos

Virtustream was Dell Technologies' enterprise cloud platform for mission-critical applications, serving large enterprises, healthcare, and government agencies worldwide. I owned product marketing for Virtustream's healthcare, public sector, and GRC portfolios. These are three verticals where the stakes are high, and the buyers are sophisticated. Generic messaging doesn't cut it. This is where I developed the discipline to translate complex, regulated cloud environments into clear value propositions for audiences that need both technical credibility and business relevance. I led content and messaging motions across the full mix of assets: web, collateral, trade show, and campaign. I worked closely with product management, sales, and external agencies to bring campaigns from brief to execution. This cross-functional muscle is one I rely on every day in my current role. Virtustream bridged my product management roots to my current role. I learned the hardest marketing problems are clarity problems, not creative ones.
