I was leading a team of RnD engineers and was responsible for the development and transfer into high volume manufacturing of new types of diffractive/holographic optical elements for Vaunt/Superlite technology. It was my responsibility to coordinate and drive partnerships with key suppliers and CM’s as well as coordinate with other teams around the globe (Project Management, Manufacturing, Electrical, MEMS, ID, etc). Together with my team, we were also working on the development of new prototypes for potential next generation products.

As an optical engineer at Intel, I was in charge of developing the processes to manufacture novel types of of diffractive/holographic optical elements. I successfully designed and built proof-of-concept setups in the lab including mechanical design (ProE, Solidworks), optical design (Zemax), automation (LabView) and physics simulation (Matlab). I have also coordinated the design, installation and testing of multiple generations of manufacturing and inspection machines in the lab and the CM’s. I have helped building up a team of 10 engineers and am co-author of 10+ patents and patent applications.
