I build the software layer where humans meet machines — the embedded UI on the device, the platform behind it, and the app in your pocket. At Daikin (the world's largest HVAC manufacturer), I proposed and architected the Rust UI platform for the next generation of thermostats: an embedded touch UI (LVGL on ESP32-S3), a server-driven UI core that renders ~460 screens to four targets (embedded, WebAssembly, CLI, React Native) from one codebase, and the behavioral test infrastructure (2,500+ flow tests) that keeps it honest. Before that: 10+ years of consumer iOS — one of a handful of engineers behind Al Jazeera's flagship news apps (6M+ downloads on Android alone), a ground-up SwiftUI rewrite, a sole-authored tvOS App Store release, and the consolidation of six native apps into one React Native codebase. AI-native workflow since 2025: Claude and agentic tooling are part of how I ship every day.
