After nearly 20 years in public service, I have started a new adventure at Facebook. While in government, I worked to shape policy on the most sensitive national security and foreign policy challenges, including countering the hybrid threat of cyber-warfare and disinformation, combating aspiring nuclear states, strengthening cooperation with the European Union, developing “smart” sanctions to confront hostile states and sub-state actors, counter-terrorism, and crisis management.
