In my professional life, I have two passions: empowering customer-facing organizations to excel at knowing their customers and driving growth for businesses and their customers. SugarCRM allows me to do both! At Sugar, I lead the company's vision, culture, strategy, and operations. For 30 years, I’ve steered exceptional companies and teams with publicly listed and private equity-backed companies, focusing on profitable growth and successful M&A. I joined SugarCRM from Alchemer, a global SaaS company focused on helping 12,000 global customers improve their customers’ experiences (CX) and their customer and employee feedback programs. I served as CEO and Director during a period of incredible growth and scale, rebranding and repositioning the company and selling the business to KKR. In my prior leadership roles, I was a Senior Partner in Accenture’s CRM practice, the CEO of ReedGroup (now part of Alight), and a cabinet member in Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper’s administration.
President and CEO of Alchemer, a leading feedback and experience management SaaS software business. Led the transition from founder to successful sale to KKR in March 2022. Now responsible for organic and inorganic strategies and execution under KKR, balancing growth and profitability.
Led ReedGroup as Chief Executive Officer – a company focused on health and absence solutions for the Fortune 500. Grew the company significantly, both organically (from $20M to $90M in revenue) and through acquisition (to $180M+ in revenue).
Led ReedGroup through its final year under private equity (Audax), as the President of the SaaS software business and ReedGroup's Chief Operating Officer. Orchestrated financial turn-around and renewed customer growth. Significantly improved results, culminating in a successful sale of the business.
Key role on Mayor John Hickenlooper’s (now US Senator Hickenlooper) executive team in March, 2009; bringing private sector customer and business operations leadership to the City. As Chief Services Officer, led strategy and customer and business operations for the City of Denver.
Joined Accenture in 1992 (formerly Andersen Consulting) – promoted to Partner in 2001. Founding member of Accenture’s Customer Relationship Management Practice with a track record of delivering exceptional results for clients and Accenture. Worked with clients in the United States and internationally including long-term assignments in the UK and Brazil.
