• Responsible for new computer deployment and legacy machine disposal • Loaded base image and required applications on new machines, as well as any documents required by end-user. Wiped hard drives of legacy machines and recorded asset tag numbers to minimize shrink. • Set-up e-mail accounts in Outlook and configured machines with local and/or network printers • Diagnosed and replaced failing components such as hard drives, optical drives, power supplies, and RAM. • Assisted with helpdesk tickets on an as needed basis, typically involving hardware failure or software setup/questions • Responsible for maintaining the organization of the IT closet.
