They strive to advance North American manufacturing through world class integration of Automation systems with cutting edge engineering, build quality, and service. • Designer of a fully automated work cell used to assemble cab mounts for the Dodge Ram; designed a rotary pick and place, a hydraulic press and an off-load conveyor, meeting a 1.5 second cycle time requirement • Designed and integrated end of arm tooling on FANUC material handling robots to move Dodge running boards • Working knowledge of FEA methods, gained through design and validation of press frames using Solidworks • Strong skills in DFM, DFA, GD&T, functional dimensioning, manufacturing methods and weldment design • Recognized for my ability to integrate complex plastic and metal components to reduce weight and improve durability • Wrote a work term report detailing the mechanical design of a pick and place which I designed while working at BOS Innovations. This report was submitted to the University of Waterloo and was given a grade of Oustanding.
