- Teach school age students up to age 13 years old various subject areas including ELA, Math, Study Skills, Sciences, Homework from School assistance, etc.
• Prepare lesson plans and instruct ESL courses to adults in a classroom setting • Execute lesson plans in accordance with the Student Learning Objectives of assigned ESL courses using the Zoni methodology, philosophy and approach • Evaluate and monitor students’ performance and advise students on their progress during the course and the end of the course • Create interest and motivate students to actively participate in assigned tasks and lessons to succeed in learning ESL • Manage students’ behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. • Expand and reinforce concepts and provide more practice activities to motivate learners and use English in context which makes it easier for them to learn integrated skills in the target language • Recognize the needs of students and help them develop strong confidence through appropriate strategies to facilitate ESL learning • Able to understand and identify the desire, motivation, mental, and physical attributes of the learner’s abilities to progress in ESL learning • Assign and correct course-related homework • Ensure all students have purchased the appropriate course book before attending class • Use and strictly maximize the specific course book and implement its corresponding course syllabus and outline • Administer quizzes, written and oral exams using the Teachers Resources portal • Check and grade students’ written and oral exams; post the final grades no later than the following Monday of the exam week • Ensure all students are well-informed of the next course/level, course book and SLOs before the exams in the final week of the course • Check students’ attendance at the Zoni system portal accurately • Participate in school activities and organizational committees • Attend all mandatory meetings and workshops • Comply with and enforce all school and classroom policies • Perform other tasks as maybe assigned by the Academic Lead
