Managing supply chains from our world wide production facilities to our customers using my experience in forecasting, problem solving, and SAP.
I was responsible for maintaining inventory levels at the Gerdau Petersburg steel plant, one of the steel plants who have a contract with RHI Magnesita. I managed their inventory by tracking every item we supply them in an Excel tracking spreadsheet. I was also responsible for creating SAP orders for material when the Gerdau plant is low. At times, I worked with 3rd party vendors to get material we didn't supply or could not get in time. In addition, I took a final inventory every month for our monthly report which was used to bill our customer.
During my time with Excela, I received purchase orders for materials special ordered by all units of the hospital. I also managed inventory using the hospital's infor business system to adjust incorrect inventory levels. On the other hand, I corrected errors different units made when ordering by charging their cost centers in Infor. Furthermore, I developed a catalog using a query that accessed information from Infor and organized it in Excel.
I took orders from customers over the phone as well as helped prepare these orders. I also helped train new employees when needed.
I operated machinery, installed pit liners, and loaded trucks. I also helped keep track of the warehouse inventory.
