I am a Litigation Partner at Friedman Kaplan Seiler Adelman & Robbins LLP, where I focus on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. Previously, I was an Associate in the Litigation Group at Skadden Arps Slate Meager & Flom LLP. In June 2013, I graduated with a JD from Stanford Law School. Before law school, I spent three years working in the management/strategy consulting industry in the Washington, D.C., area. I graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a BS in Economics. I represent plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation and white collar matters in federal and state courts, arbitrations and mediations, and government and internal investigations. My civil practice includes all types of commercial disputes, including contract, fraud, intellectual property, securities, breach of fiduciary duty, employment, and related matters.
I represented clients in all aspects of commercial litigation, focusing on securities fraud, fraud related to the creation and sale of residential mortgage-backed securities, corporate governance litigation, litigation related to change in control transactions, antitrust litigation, and SEC investigations. I also represented clients pro bono in matrimonial and family law matters in New York State Supreme Court and Family Court.
I spent the Spring 2012 quarter as a full-time student in the Criminal Defense Clinic and continued as an advanced student during the Fall 2012 quarter and Winter 2013 quarter. At the Criminal Defense Clinic, I represented indigent misdemeanor defendants in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
I spent the Summer of 2012 as a Summer Associate at Skadden, spending five weeks in the New York office and five in the DC office. I worked for the Litigation, Mass Torts, Antitrust, and Energy Regulation & Litigation groups.
