About

David Peters is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Neocortex Robotics, a software company selling a new form of Artificial Intelligence that uses sensor input to update machine behavior in real time. The technology is being deployed in the materials handling industry to increase flexibility in automation. Under his guidance, the company won an “Emerging Company to Watch” award at the nVidia GPU Conference, where Peters was featured in the Emerging Summit Keynote address. Before founding rhe company, he was an entrepreneur in the motion picture industry, working as a producer. He is a member of the Director’s Guild of America. Peters completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and exhibited his photography extensively, culminating in an exhibition with Fay Godwin at the National Gallery of Denmark. He was employed at The Center for Creative Photography in Tucson where he produced a series of documentary programs on contemporary photographers and was a co-authored two books featuring artists from the museum’s archive . Later, moving to Los Angeles, he quickly established himself as a motion picture Camera Assistant, working extensively with Academy Award winning cinematographer, Russell Carpenter. He began pursuing a producing career in motion pictures, delivering his first feature film before the age of thirty, and going on to produce fourteen feature films. Peters is Chairman of the Stratford STEM Academy Business Advisory Council and an alumni of the World Economic Forum Network of Global Agenda Councils, where he serves on the AI and Robotics Council.
