Responsible for creating a global PreFEED/FEED Engineering unit to deliver the baseline of SABIC's global projects, based from Jubail, KSA. Growing a fledgling engineering group into an international unit to service SABIC's very extensive global project portfolio. This involves setting up new execution centers and designing an organisation to service, support manage engineering on projects as diverse as petrochemicals, agrinutrients and mining, protecting IP and providing a central engineering resource to the wider organisation.
Departing from Jacobs soon for new horizons, I have been responsible for a great team of managers, and a team of over 800 engineers and designers executing FEED and detailed design engineering works for major clients in the region including Aramco, Sabic, BP etc
Available for short or long term (contract or permanent) consultancy works managing, advising, developing or supporting major projects or operations groups internationally.
Management of all aspects of the business associated with design, procurement, fabrication and assembly of modules such as E-Houses, pipe racks & process modules, with over 7000 employees within my remit, two fabrication yards for international blue chip clients, over $600m of module projects for some of the largest projects in the world.
