• Committing 13+ hours weekly during competition season, working and implementing the fundamental subsystems such as arms, intake, and drive train on the robot. • Applying advanced software development fundamentals (Dependency Injection, Factory pattern, Singleton, etc) to develop sophisticated subsystem design, integrate sensors, and build autonomous paths. • Programming with industry standard tools (like Github and Intellij IDEA) and problem solving skills to code, test, debug, and deploy the robot for regional and nationwide competitions (Robot top 8% globally out of 3690 teams).
• Worked with 15 other representatives ranging from other students to school principals to senior tech employees to help fight issues in my community involving technology. • Created and discussed new ideas and applications of technology that impacts day to day school life for students, teachers, and admin. •Promoted inclusive and equitably using technology across the 50,000 students and 106 schools in the school district system
• Implemented valuable trade skills (important construction principles, environmental and trail conservation, etc). • Protected various community parks and local favorite trails around Seattle and Mount Rainier to protect local life. • Replaced 19 degrading box steps, removed over 21000 square feet of invasive species to, and weeded over 6500 square feet to maintain trails.
