Completed assignment (25 months) on Valero Oil Refinery, Wales as Automation Lead Engineer (Emerson - main contractor) - Developed Process Control Automation solution for White Oils plant, online cutover from Honeywell DCS (1980) to Emerson DeltaV DCS system. Completed assignment (15 months) on Valero Oil Refinery, Wales as Automation Lead Engineer (Emerson - main contractor) - supporting site cutover team with method statement and risk assessment development for Black Oils plant - Honeywell (1980) to DeltaV DCS. Completed assignment (21 months) on SABIC DCS Modernization as Automation Lead Engineer (Emerson, sub-contractor to Jacobs Engineering, EPC contractor) - Developed Automation solution for world scale Oil Cracking Ethylene plant, transitioning from Naphtha to Ethane. Multi furnace system, structured cutovers, aligned with annual turnarounds, staged software delivery over 18 month period. Migration from Honeywell DCS system (1980) to Emerson DeltaV ICSS system, including new SIS shutdown system for future Gas instead of Liquid feed stock. SADARA is a new independent joint venture startup company developed from Saudi Aramco oil company and Dow Chemical company executives. Completed assignment on RTIP FEED project for Chem I Chlor-alkali facility as Lead Automation Engineer, developing the process control strategy Engineering Design documentation for the Main Automation Contractor to cost and implement.
