A KPMG qualified Chartered Accountant who has worked at senior management level since leaving to join a client as its General Manager in 1981. Technical and management skills have been gained (Chartered Company Secretary, Chartered Director & Taxation Technician) whilst having significant positive impacts for the organisations I have been employed by. A focus on understanding the business and people has enabled the production of reliable and informative financial statements that led to recommendations and the implementation of measures to improve organisational and financial operation. Flexible and committed, with the ability to take a strategic overview in addition to the technical detail. Now looking for a part time role in finance or administration, possibly focusing on accounts production, balance sheet reconciliations or helping teams perform better through improved line management / leadership.

Joined the former client that I have worked with since May 2013. The Company is a multi award winning renewable energy business that has extended it's activities from Solar PV to LED lighting and energy storage.

The client base has included a Community Interest Company, a Charity operating leisure centres in Devon & Somerset, a renewable energy installation & product distribution company, a legal practice and a UK wide distribution company selling leisure products. The tasks undertaken have spanned the range of tasks required from a Head of Finance to management duties such as organising and Chairing meetings. A number of clients have sought to use the skills and experience gained to assist on the recruitment of key positions for the organisation and to foster team building.
