DEBT & CAPITAL ADVISORY
I am Head of EY Debt Advisory and an Equity Partner (2022) in the Irish firm. I advise a range of clients including Real Estate Businesses, Large Privates and PLC's on their debt requirements to support Acquisitions, Developments and Refinances. I work closely with domestic and international Banks and Non-Bank Lenders.
- Leading a team of professionals in the Origination, Structuring & Management of a portfolio of Domestic Corporate customers. - Leading Corporate Banking's Hotel initiative from a policy and business generation perspective. - Customer focus includes Hotels, Healthcare, Large Private Companies and Plc's. - Focus on working with Enterprise Ireland in developing the bank's range of financing/lending propositions for emerging sectors in Ireland. (Software, Medical Devices, Cleantech etc.) 18 Month Secondment: Specialist Property Group: NAMA Loan Disposals: Responsibility for a portfolio of customers with a focus on loan valuations prior to loan disposals to NAMA. Responsibility included Credit papers/ Legal due diligence /Property valuations; Senior Relationship Manager : All aspects of Relationship Management for an impaired loan book, focus was to maximise debt recovery including decisions on demanding facilities, appointing receivers, registering judgments. Further responsibility included; Asset Management of properties; the appointment of 3rd Party professionals to monitor Bank funded development projects.
Role focused on business development from Intermediaries. (Accountants & Commercial Brokers). Sourced commercial lending opportunities for the Bank in the Property, Investment & Business Banking sectors.
Role included the origination, negotiation and structuring of commercial lending proposals to credit committee stage and the management and development of an expanding portfolio of clients.
