Offshore Well Operations
Based in their London office, I was responsible for managing HSE support to Atwood Oceanics drilling rigs and their supporting regional offices as part of the Operations HSE team and later corporate HSE team, originally in the Europe and Africa region, and then later in a global capacity. I worked closely with client management teams in their own country of operation including Noble Energy (Israel and Equatorial Guinea), BP and Kosmos Energy (Senegal, Mauritania, Morocco and Ghana), Eni (Italy), Glencore and Addax Petroleum (Cameroon) and Mubadala Petroleum and Coastal Energy (Thailand and Malaysia) to ensure that our drilling operations aligned with client HSE expectations. The rigs under my responsibility included the Achiever and Advantage (6th gen Drillships) , the Aurora and Beacon (Hi-spec Jack-ups) and Hunter (semi sub).
I provided SHEQ support to company owned installations and their respective management teams. This included work in Denmark, the Netherlands and Tunisia for the E70, E71, E72, E85 and E105 jack-ups.
