My research interests include the materials science behavior of concrete materials, characterization of microstructure of porous materials, early age properties of concrete, and water transport in repair and masonry materials. My consulting activities include concrete materials used for infrastructure and pavements. Recent projects feature self consolidating concrete formwork pressure, cracking of early age concrete, nonmetallic reinforcement, and forensic studies of construction problems and cracking.
