Alongside my consulting career, I founded and scaled Run Series into one of the UK's leading independent running event organisations, creating nationally recognised events, securing partnerships with brands including British Airways, adidas, BMW, esure and Intersport, and leading the business through sustained growth and successful exit. 1990 – Present (Part-time / Advisory) Founded and grew a specialist learning, transformation and technology training consultancy, initially in Australia before successfully exiting the business in 2001 and subsequently re-establishing the consultancy in the UK and Ireland. Over the past 35 years, I have partnered with global organisations, government agencies and public-sector bodies to support major technology implementations, business transformation programmes and workforce capability initiatives. Clients have included Zurich Insurance, MS Reinsurance, CitiGroup, PepsiCo, Woolworths, Sydney University, Sydney Water, NSW Fire Brigades and many others. Founded and scaled one of the UK's leading independent endurance event organisations, delivering award-winning events and creating award-winning brands including Run Reigate and Run Gatwick with national reach. Grew the business from concept to a portfolio of market-leading events attracting 5,000+ annual participants across running, cycling, trail running and canicross disciplines. Led learning, capability and business change initiatives across multiple global transformation programmes, supporting the implementation of new underwriting, analytics and core administration platforms across Europe, North America and Asia. • Led the learning and change workstream for the global rollout of SICS, a new reinsurance core administration platform. • Designed and delivered business readiness and capability programmes for underwriting, middle office and operational teams across Zurich, Bermuda, Miami and Labuan. • Developed learning strategies, training frameworks, onboarding pathways and post-implementation support models to drive user adoption and knowledge retention. • Partnered with senior stakeholders, SMEs, HR and Business Change teams to align learning solutions with organisational objectives. • Designed and implemented Train-the-Trainer programmes to build internal capability and support global knowledge transfer. • Established learning evaluation and feedback frameworks to measure effectiveness, adoption and business impact. • Supported the successful implementation of Orchestra and CAT Modelling platforms through end-to-end learning, change and adoption activities.
