As an Acquisition Program Manager, I lead and manage United States Air Force programs to deliver and sustain warfighting capabilities. My duties touch every aspect of the acquisition process, including technology development and integrating engineering, program control, test and deployment, configuration management, production and manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics support. I serve in a variety of capacities, primarily in the program office, as I demonstrate leadership, business, and technical insight. I ensure that acquisition programs meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives. As a contractor for the United States Air Force, I provided acquisition support at the Division, Branch, and Program level. I worked in a variety of capacities supporting government and military officials. I was initially hired as an entry level candidate working the front desk in our department. In short time I created and developed my position as a coordinator in the Department of Sports Medicine. I liaised with institutions, students, and performers from around the world to coordinate their care, as I developed new systems and protocols to improve customer service, streamline patient care, and strengthen outreach efforts to our community. I specialized in healthcare for performance artists and had the pleasure of coordinating medical support for the Boston Ballet.
A former USAID project, Cascade Capital Holdings CJSC, through its subsidiaries, provided commercial financial services. The subsidiaries included Cascade Bank, Cascade Credit, Cascade Insurance, and Cascade Investments. My position was a blend of marketing, advertising, public relations, and sales. Working with our CEO and Marketing Manager, we developed and executed annual marketing plans. I worked with local advertising agencies to develop materials, such as television/radio commercials, print media advertisement, brochures, as well as arrange attendance in various trade shows. We worked with local and foreign entities, such as the US Embassy, Armenia Central Bank, and European Central Bank, on various grant programs. Also pairing up with nonprofit organizations on various development initiatives. I coordinated with the local media to arrange press conferences to announce each of these efforts. Increasing sales of our products was also an important part of my position. I would reach out to various American and European entities working in Armenia and arrange meetings to present our products. My overarching task was to implement Western oriented business style and influence business practice throughout the company.
The Armenian Volunteer Corps (AVC) is Armenia's premier volunteer placement organization, helping volunteers from around the world, 21 years of age and older, to find fulfilling service opportunities for terms of one month up to one year, in Yerevan and throughout Armenia. AVC volunteers serve year-round in non-profit organizations, schools and universities, and businesses in such sectors as architecture, education, PR and marketing, tourism, healthcare, agriculture, the environment, engineering, community development, or a variety of other internship possibilities.
