Hi, I'm Dave Juncos, a 2014 graduate of La Salle's PsyD in Clinical Psychology program. I conduct research on the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for music performance anxiety (MPA). It's a true passion of mine working with musicians either in individual therapy or through consultation with music colleges. Additionally, I work as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for Hopewell Springs Counseling Center, in Marlton, NJ, where I treat adults and teenagers with a variety of mental health problems. I'm also on faculty with the Voice Workshop UK, within their MA programs in Voice Pedagogy and Performance Coaching for Performing Artists.
Provide remote lectures on evaluating & treating music performance anxiety for both clinicians and educators, statistics & quantitative research design, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Achieving Peak Performance. Provide supervision for current students' research projects. Provide online training courses for the general public about using Acceptance and Commitment Training for managing music performance anxiety.
Provide individual & couples therapy for teenagers and adults ages 14+ in a comfortable private practice setting. Also conduct psychological evaluations for teenagers and adults ages 16+ to confirm a variety of conditions, including AD/HD, Autism, Specific Learning Disability, common psychiatric diagnoses, and for English or Spanish-speaking clients undergoing immigration or criminal proceedings.
Provide individual & couples therapy and psychological testing for ADHD (teens ages 16+), Autism Spectrum Disorder (all ages), Specific Learning Disorder (ages 16+), and confirmation of a psychological diagnosis.
