Highlights: • Boosted daily aircraft availability 65% by accelerating change with theory of constraints 'focused maintenance' program, reducing scheduled maintenance footprint 21 to 6 aircraft per week. • Backed 5 pilot upgrade/bilateral training operations by propelling a 4-day surge, as well as sustaining 26 aircraft through 121 operations while resolving 9 pilot reported discrepancies in less than 8 hours. • Increased aircraft availability 12% by returning 4 aircraft that were down for 680 days through establishing repair flow plan with 1K tasks and 88 parts. Recovered over $250K by flawlessly scrutinizing records.
Oversaw 417 personnel across 13 specialties while managing 1.6K assets worth $124M in support of a program for 56 aircraft. Directed operating procedures, evaluated maintenance tasks & improved processes through innovation concepts and QA data analysis. Coordinated maintenance scheduling for 21 sections, 14 facilities, and 53 vehicles worth $67M. Highlights: • Saved $300K in repair costs by forging an aircraft rebuild team that involved fusing 12 members on hydro system rebuild with a first field-level test in 10 days. • Cut repair cycle time 90% and saved over $20K by innovating field-level aerial refuel bucket repair while preventing mission incapable and negating not repairable this station. • Alleviated a 1-year backlog by overcoming supply deficit, sourcing alternative requisition avenue, and coordinating single purchase contract. • Raised section capabilities 26% by revamping section training program that resulted in 735 certifications and 1K continuation tasks. Validated training request and scripted 2-week advanced course.
Coordinated production efforts of 222 maintenance personnel working 24 aircraft and equipment worth $451M. Built weekly, monthly, and annual aircraft utilization and scheduled maintenance plans supporting an 8K flying hour program. Highlights: • Recovered $540K by spearheading a storage revitalization that involved successfully recovering and reinstating 7 serviceable flight control items to supply. • Fueled a 0.3% delayed discrepancy to include crushing 5% standard FY17 by implementing aviation maintenance section's delayed discrepancy reduction plan and eliminating 157 maintenance discrepancies.
