Currently operating as a Senior First Officer at Emirates flying the Boeing 777. I completed the Integrated ATPL course flying Piper aircraft and the MCC Course on the B737 simulator at PTC aviation. At the beginning of 2018 I went through the process of converting my South African licence to an EASA ATPL. I wrote the exams at Bristol Ground School and finished the flying training at National Flight Center in Dublin flying Cessna 172s and the Beechcraft Dutchess. I completed the MCC Course at Simtech Aviation in Dublin. I joined Ryanair as a Cadet in December 2018. After completing the B737 type rating I initially operated as a Second Officer commencing line training in East Midlands and Dublin. After gaining experience I qualified to Junior and Senior First Officer and was based in Porto, Portugal flying to many destinations across Europe and Northern Africa. On May 24th 2024 I joined Emirates as an experienced First Officer. I was enrolled on the short conversion type rating course and concluded the line training at the end of September. I operate to many destinations around the world with a mixture of short haul, long haul and ultra long haul routes as well as simulator support.
Experience (01/02/2026) B777-300ER, B777-200LR: 1063 Hours P2 I joined Emirates Airline on May 24th 2024 as an experienced First Officer and enrolled onto the short type rating course, concluding line training in September that year. I operate to many destinations around the world with a mixture of short turnarounds, long haul and ultra long haul operations.
Experience (07/05/2024) B737-800NG, B737-8200(MAX): 2913 Hours P2 My Ryanair career began as a Cadet in early 2019. The B737 type rating was completed in East Midlands, UK and I was based in Dublin, Ireland for the duration of line training. Towards the end of 2019 I was based in Porto, Portugal. Through the years I've performed the roles as a Second Officer, Junior First Officer and Senior First Officer. I flew to many destinations across Europe and Northern Africa and gained additional qualifications to fly MNPS routes and to operate out-of-base in Madeira.
