Bienvenido! I'm a journalist with a passion for explaining how government works (or doesn't). I strive to translate wonky policy, legislation and bureaucratic processes to help folks understand their government. I'm the proud son of Latino immigrants (mom's from Mexico—thus the Nuño—my dad's from Paraguay). My rich heritage elevates the stories I write about diversity, equity and inclusion, corporate responsibility (or irresponsibility), financial inclusion and government. My favorite part of being a reporter is building sources: Getting to know my sources, From senators to the custodians who clean up the Capitol at night, everyone has a story—all worth telling.
