About

I am a student at Bentley University from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have a strong passion for business, though I’m still exploring the best path within it. Outside the classroom, I have a competitive passion for sports and physical activity. I am currently a member of the Bentley men’s division one hockey team. Throughout my career, I have been through countless rough patches. I believe these obstacles have allowed me to maneuver adversity in a mature fashion. I have also had the opportunity to lead hockey teams by wearing a letter on my jersey. In hockey, wearing an “A” or “C” is a great honor and these experiences of representing a team in leadership can be considered monumental for business skill development. Being a student-athlete comes with its challenges, especially balancing academics and athletics at a high level. It requires strong time management, discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure — qualities that I believe will serve me well in the business world. Whether it’s on the ice or in the classroom, I thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and am always looking for chances to grow and learn. My next step involves an internship opportunity and I’d love to hear more about your experience or any advice you have as I navigate my path in business!

Experience

  • NCAA Division 1 Hockey Player at Bentley University Athletics
    Sep 2024 - Present · 1 yr 11 mos

Being a student-athlete at Bentley University pushes me to constantly elevate my performance on and off the ice. Climbing the ladder in my career has demanded an ever-increasing level of commitment and time management. Nearly six hours of each day are dedicated to rigorous training at the rink—a period filled with detailed video breakdowns of our team’s play, scouting reports on other teams, and tactical analyses. Workouts with our trainer, set the stage for an hour-long, strategic practice that leaves no room for distractions. At the Division I level, the coaches are exceptionally organized and have a short patience for a lack of focus on the ice. Balancing these athletic demands with a challenging academic environment has truly honed my resilience and responsibility.

  • Hockey Player at North American Hockey League (NAHL)
    Mar 2022 - May 2024 · 2 yrs 3 mos

My journey in the North American Hockey League was defined by commitment and perseverance. As an uncommitted player with aspirations for Division I athletics, I dedicated countless hours on and off the ice — spending four hours at the rink and an additional hour in the gym nearly every day. My season was grueling, playing 70 games with only a 10-day winter break and four off weekends, a schedule that tested my physical and mental limits during a 9 month season. This demanding routine taught me the value of resilience and fueled my determination to develop my skills. In my second season, my hard work paid off when I earned significant honors: being named the defensemen of the year runner-up, securing a spot on the North American Hockey League First Team, and earning my division one commitment to Bentley. These accolades not only recognized my growth, but also affirmed my passion for striving toward excellence in athletics.
